TUI is planning to open its first Robinson Club resort in China in 2029.
The property will be built in Meifan Sailing Port, which is located in the Yangtze River Delta Green Demonstration Zone.
The resort will be a new build covering an area of 160,000 sqm and will be part of a sports and leisure complex offering sailing and water sports. The club will be geared to both families and couples.
TUI Hotels & Resorts Co-CEO Bernd Mäser said: “With the first Robinson in the Yangtze Delta, we are bringing our premium club concept to a region that stands for sustainable development and tourism. The demand for high-quality club holidays with a comprehensive range of sports is growing in China. The club will be geared towards an international audience.”
