Here’s what stole the show at the Travel Counsellors Annual Conference 2025

More than 1,500 independent Travel Counsellors, support colleagues, and supplier partners gathered at Liverpool’s ACC for the Travel Counsellors Annual Global Conference earlier this month.

From 7–9 November, attendees joined a three-day celebration of innovation, community, and discovering the power of personal connection in travel.

Your Story. Our Journey.

This year’s theme, ‘Your Story. Our Journey’, summed up the event’s focus on empowering entrepreneurial travel professionals to write their own success stories, supported by a thriving global network. It was a weekend filled with inspiration, from headline speakers, to exciting new technology launches.

A new era: TC Co-Pilot

One of the biggest announcements was the global rollout of TC Co-Pilot, an AI assistant built exclusively for Travel Counsellors and seamlessly integrated into Phenix, the company’s proprietary booking and business management platform.

Following a successful pilot with over 120 franchise owners, TC Co-Pilot is set to transform how Travel Counsellors work day-to-day. It can:

  • Build bespoke itineraries in minutes
  • Research hotels and experiences with insider precision
  • Create marketing content and social posts effortlessly
  • Generate personalised touches such as packing lists and local dining guides

By streamlining admin and amplifying personalisation, TC Co-Pilot allows Travel Counsellors to focus on what matters most – crafting unforgettable experiences and building genuine relationships with clients.

Highlights from the weekend

The conference opened in true TC style with a Friday Night Live welcome party – an evening of laughter and music, including a special performance from Katherine Ryan.

Across the weekend, the main stage played host to an incredible line-up of speakers, including the company’s Growth and Entrepreneurship Partner, Sara Davies, and author, broadcaster and adventurer, Simon Reeve.

Fresh from her Friday night performance, Katherine Ryan also graced the stage on Saturday morning to give a unique insight into her own personal journey and discuss the importance of mindset and resilience – all with a few comedy moments thrown in to keep the positive vibes high.

Meanwhile, Sara was joined by three Travel Counsellors who shared their own inspiring stories of success, drive, and community – living proof that with the right support, running your own travel business can be both empowering and rewarding.

TCTM travel market

The TCTM Travel Market brought together Travel Counsellors and supplier partners for a day of networking and collaboration. From new destination insights to upcoming product launches, it was an opportunity to strengthen the close relationships that underpin Travel Counsellors’ success and to ensure every advisor left with valuable knowledge to share with their clients.

A spectacular gala dinner and awards ceremony

The celebrations culminated in a Night in the Orient gala dinner and awards ceremony, complete with a show-stopping headline performance from The Script. The evening recognised the achievements of the brand’s top-performing Travel Counsellors – a fitting finale to a weekend dedicated to ambition, innovation and community spirit.
