Transfer company 1st Airport Taxis Ltd has launched in Dubai, marking its first international expansion.
Founder & CEO Wajid Hussain said expansion in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was a natural next step for the business, as the company already had customers travelling to the destination.
He said: “Many of our UK and European customers are already travelling regularly to the UAE, and they had been requesting the same service standard abroad. We are now operating with a local team supported by our UK technology, training, and compliance framework.”
1st Airport Taxis’ in-house technology includes real-time flight integration that automatically adjusts pickup times for early or delayed arrivals, smart fleet allocation based on live and historical data, vehicle matching for passengers with large or multiple bags, and automated compliance checks across licensing, insurance, and driver credentials.
Wajid also confirmed plans to enter Saudi Arabia in the coming months.
